Scholarship

After the success of our scholarships the last years we have decided to continue the scholarship program this year. Just like previously we will be offering three scholarship tickets to people from underrepresented groups in tech, including but not limited to: women, people of color, people with disabilities, LGBT+, and more specifically those that could not attend WeCamp 2020 without a scholarship.

What is included?

Included in the scholarship is:

1. A ticket to WeCamp 2020
2. A travel reimbursement of up to € 100,-

Requirements

To apply for a scholarship, you need to match the following criteria:

• You are from a group that is underrepresented in tech
• You are 18 years or older
• You need to be able to travel to and attend WeCamp 2020 (August 18 to August 22)
• You are responsible for checking whether a visum is required for travel to the Netherlands and, when applicable, for obtaining it
• You are working in, looking for a job in, studying for a frontend or backend programming position, or have other experience in that field

Applications for scholarships are open until March 30th 2020. We will get in touch with the people who are awarded a scholarship soon after.
